Community Development
The Department of Community Development is responsible for construction permits, inspections, and the enforcement of City ordinances and codes in relation to buildings and properties:
- Construction
- Design Standards
- Planning
- Property Maintenance
- Signage
- Zoning
- Rental Inspections
The department also supervises Floodplain Management and City-related Asbestos Inspections as well as serving as staff for the Planning & Zoning Commission, Board of Appeals, Board of Adjustments and the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority.
