During yesterday’s Council meeting, Sikeston City Council took the following actions:
 

A.  Council appointed the following individuals to Boards & Commission:

B.  Council approved Bill #6067, Request to Rezone Lots 1 & 2 , Block 4 Sikes 1st Addition Located at 226 N. Kingshighway from Transitional Downtown (TZDT) to Commercial District Downtown (C-2 DT). 

C.  Council approved Bill #6068, Request to Replat a Part of Lots 1 & 15 of Applegate’s North Addition, which is Located at #2 Grove Street. 

D.  Council approved Emergency Bill #6070, Authorizing the Director of Public Works to Execute Permits for Projects with Missouri Highways & Transportation Commission Right-of-Way

E.  Conducted 1st Reading of Bill #6071, Authorizing City of Sikeston to Enter Into a Certain Option to Purchase Real Estate (Future water well site for BMU)

F.  City Manager gave an update on the FY17 Capital Improvement Projects.  The vast majority of the projects and purchases have been completed.  A few have carried over into FY18.

G.  Other Items:  PAWS Animal Shelter will have their open house later this month.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned into Executive Session (Property).  Council’s next meeting is tentatively scheduled for 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 21st.
