Instant Weather Conditions
You can rest your mouse on the temperature display in the tray and the current conditions will display with a 4-day forcast.

Desktop Application Front Buttons
There are several buttons on the Application Front where you can access more information such as the Access Sikeston Webs button, Menu button, Weather button, News button.

• Access Sikeston Webs Button
  When you select this button a window opens up where you can instantly access the City's website, the BMU website, the Chamber of Commerce, and the CVB.
• Menu Button
  This button gives you links to important web pages, and options. By selecting Options,you can personalize your preferences for the desktop alert by checking or unchecking the options you prefer.  If the Get Latest Version is in bold, you can install the latest version instantly.
• Weather Button
  The Weather Button gives you all the weather information you may need such as the current Personal Forecast, Local Radar, Lightning, Wind, Humidity, and Temperature.  The "Other" link at the top will show more tabs such as National Radar, National Temperature, and Hurricanes.  All of the maps are zoom-able with just a click of the mouse.
• News Button
  The News Button takes you to a window where you can access and add all your preferred RSS feeds. 

Notification Alerts
Serious weather conditions, Amber Alerts, and major accidents of all types can happen without warning. When those accidents involve hazardous materials, water-main breaks, or road closings, instant notification becomes mission critical. Sikeston InfoLink allows the city to alert neighborhoods and even individual streets by issuing an Audio Alert and a text crawl.

The first 24 hours is the most critical for locating missing persons.  Sikeston InfoLink can instantly reach thousands of residents capable of putting an extra set of eyes on the street in finding these missing persons.  If there were an Amber Alert, the left side of the Application Icon would expand out and the information would be shown along with a text crawl.
