Street Division
 The Street Division provides maintenance for the streets, right-of-ways, alleys and storm water drainage within the city limits of Sikeston, MO. This department is also responsible for mosquito fogging, the Compost Site, the Leaf Collection Program and our staff is trained in snow removal.

N. New Madrid
Effective immediately, Wednesday, July 14, 2010, N. New Madrid Street between Front Street and Center Street will be completely closed, due to construciton. Kleusner Contractors will be performing the work. This project will continue for approximately 2 days (weather permitting) All motorists and residents in the area are asked to use alternative routes to avoid this site, and are encouraged to use caution when in the construction areas. S. New Madrid
Effective immediately, Tuesday, June 8, 2010, S. New Madrid between W. Malone and South Street will be completely closed until further notice, due to construction. Buffington Brothers Contractors will be performing the work. All motorists and residents in the area are asked to use alternative routes to avoid this site, and are encouraged to use caution when in the construction areas. Beginning at 7:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2010, N. New Madrid Street at Center Street will be partially closed, due to cross walk construction. This project will continue for approximately 14 days (weather permitting). All motorists and residents in the area are asked to use alternative routes to avoid this site, and are encouraged to use caution when in the construction areas. Hunter at N. Ranney
Beginning at 7:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010, Hunter at N. Ranney Street will be completely closed, due to intersection construction. This project will continue for approximately 21 days (weather permitting). Jethro Gator will be doing the work.
