All vendors remain on the City’s active vendor list for one (1) year. If a firm does not respond to a request for bid or quotation during this one (1) year period, their name may be removed from the vendor list.

RFP #17-19, SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING SERVICES 

The City of Sikeston is requesting proposals for contractual solid waste services which encompass the collection, transportation and disposal of residential and public property solid waste materials within the corporate limits of the City of Sikeston beginning July 1, 2017.  To be considered, four (4) hard copies and one pdf copy of the vendor’s proposal must be received at the City of Sikeston, Office of the City Clerk, Attention:  RFQ #17-19, 105 E. Center St., Sikeston, MO  63801 no later than 3:00 pm (CST) on Friday, March 31, 2017.  Faxes, electronic submittals, and late submittals will not be accepted.  For more information, please send an email to publicworks@sikeston.org or call Angie Keller, Public Works Administrative Assistant at 573-471-2512. 

Request for Proposal packets may be picked up at City Hall beginning March 8, 2017 or you may download the packet here. 

ADDENDUM #1 

The Sikeston City Council during their March 16, 2017 meeting extended the deadline for submission of proposals for solid waste and recycling service.  RFP #17-19, Solid Waste and Recycling Services hereby amended as follows: 

Page 2, paragraph 2 shall read as follows: 

To be considered, four (4) hard copies and one pdf copy of the vendor’s proposal must be received at the City of Sikeston, Office of City Clerk, Attention:  RFP #17-19, 105 E. Center St., Sikeston, MO  63801 no later than 3:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, April 14, 2017.  Faxes, electronic submittals, and late submittals will not be accepted.  For more information, please send an email to publicworks@sikeston.org or call Angie Keller, Public Works Administrative Assistant at 573-471-2512. 

Page 2, paragraph 4 is amended, as follows: 

Following a review of the proposals received, the Sikeston City Council intends to award a contract at the May 22, 2017 City Council Meeting to be held at 11:30 a.m. at City Hall. 

The effective date of the contract, July 1, 2017, remains unchanged. 

17Q57, CARPET CLEANING (City Hall/Court)

The City of Sikeston is soliciting bids for the professional cleaning of carpets located on the 1st Floor and 2nd Floor of Sikeston City Hall, 105 E. Center Street and Sikeston Municipal Court, 131 N. New Madrid St., Sikeston, MO  63801.  All work will be performed on weekends. Room measurements for City Hall and Municipal Court are included. All bids will be subject to the terms and conditions listed in the bid, and any special conditions set forth therein.  Sealed bids will be accepted until 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the Office of City Clerk, 105 E. Center St., Sikeston, MO 63801.

17-18, SNOW PLOW

The City of Sikeston is soliciting bids for an 8’ Super Duty snowplow with installation for a pickup truck for the Street Division. The sealed bids will be subject to the terms and conditions listed below and any special conditions set forth therein.  Bid packets may be picked up at City Hall, located at 105 E. Center St. in Sikeston, Missouri. They are also available here

The sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 105 E. Center Street, Sikeston, Missouri 63801, until 1:30 p.m. CDT Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Bids should have the vendor’s name and the bid number located on the outside of the envelope. Bids will be opened at that time in the C.D.
