City of Sikeston Spring Clean-up
(Open to Sikeston Residents Only)

The Annual Community Clean-Up Campaign will be held for 9 days beginning Saturday, May 3, 2008 and concluding Sunday, May 11, 2008.  The compost site on Compress Road will be open and manned from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. daily during Spring Cleanup. Sikeston residents may bring any large bulky items, rubbish, yard waste (no grass clippings), washers, dryers, microwaves, refrigerators, hot water heaters, commodes, tires (no larger than 16" without rims), and household furniture to the site for disposal.  Electric motors, rubber hoses and compressors must be detached from appliances.  Proof of residency will be required.

 

The following items will NOT be accepted:
Hazardous Materials or Chemicals
Asbestos Materials
Shingles
Paint
LP Tanks
Fuel Containers
Construction or Demolition Waste
Batteries

 

NO COMMERCIAL DUMPING WILL BE ALLOWED
