Resident Award
(Winner of this
award will have 3 or more of the following qualities)
Homeowner/tenant who makes a significant improvement to their property/neighborhood.
Homeowner/tenant who does the gardening of their own accord.
Lawn color should be nice and green, preferably weed-free or weeds well under control and nicely trimmed on a regular basis. Shrubbery and flowers are well maintained and have a healthy color.
Only curbside view (front of the yard) will be considered for selection.
Landscaping should be attractive, express personality and contribute to the ambiance of the community.
Once a yard is selected, a sign is placed in the winning yard and will remain there until a new winner is chosen for the next month. a picture of the winning yard will be put in the paper, on the Chamber of Commerce website and on the City of Sikeston's website. Winners will be recognized by their respective cities.
Business Award
(Winner of this award will have 3 or more of the following qualities)
Business has made improvements on the inside and/or outside of their building.
Business shows outstanding customer service.
Business is clean and has an attractive appearance.
Employees are cheerful, neat, helpful and knowledgeable.
Business is involved and supportive of the community.
Winners will be given a Spirit sign to display for 30 days until a new winner is chosen. Winners will be recognized in the newspaper, on the Chamber website, Chamber newsletter and by their respective cities.
Super Achiever Award
Employee who demonstrates outstanding customer service.
Employee will be chosen once a month by a "secret shopper" from SACC's general membership.
The employee will be rewarded with a certificate and gift card and will have their picture posted in the newspaper, Chamber newsletter and website.
*Once an individual or business has won they will be ineligible to win again for 1 year.
