The City Council meets at City Hall, 105 E. Center Street on the first Monday of every month at 5:00 p.m.  Special meetings may be scheduled as needed.  The agenda will be posted 24 hours prior to the meeting in the foyer of City Hall and on this  website.

Marshall, a lifetime resident of Sikeston, graduated from Sikeston High School and Westminster College. He and his wife, Beth, have two children, Austin and Catherine, and attend St. Francis Xavier Church.  The former director of the Northern Interchange Project, Marshall is President of First State Bank & Trust, and serves as a commissioner on the Southeast Missouri Port Authority.  Currently a member of the Sikeston Rotary Club, Marshall is a past president of the Sikeston Jaycees and the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce.  In 2007, Marshall was recognized as Citizen of the Year by the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce.  Marshall is serving his second term as Sikeston's Mayor.

A graduate of Sikeston High School and the Independent Career Institute, Mrs. Rogers and her husband, Gerald, own and operate 1First Realty. A mother of 3 with 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, she is actively involved in her church, Fellowship Baptist Church. Rogers is a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary where she served as Vice-Commander, and is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She is a member of the Sikeston Lions Club, and has been a supporter Civil War Re-enactments.  She is a certified Hunter Safety Instructor.  

For the past 11 years, Mrs. Rogers has been a real estate  Multi-Million Dollar Producer.  Active in local government Mrs. Rogers was elected as an at-large member to the Sikeston City Council in 2002. During her tenure on Council she served as Council representative to the Planning & Zoning Commission and Sikeston-Miner Tourism Commission. She served as a Council appointee to the Rental Ordinance Appeals Board from 1995-2005, to the Land Clearance Redevelopment Commission from 2004-2005, and the Board of Appeals from 2004-2005.  She is Chairman of Sikeston-Miner Convention & Visitors Bureau Commission and is a committee member of the Storm Water Management Program.

A native of Sikeston, Bohannon graduated from Sikeston Public Schools and received a degree in business administration from the University of Missouri.  Appointed to Sikeston's Land Clearance and Redevelopment Authority in 2003, Bohannon served as the Authority's chairman until 2005.

Active in the community, Bohannon is a member of the Sikeston Rotary Club where he served as president.  A recipient of the Rotary Governor's Award, he was also named the 2003 Rotarian of the Year.  Bohannon is a member of the Sikeston Jaycees, served on the Rodeo Board, and received the Jaycee Distinguished Service Award in 2004.  For over 20 years Bohannon has been active in the Jaycee Youth Football program where he has served as a commissioner, coach and game official.  A member of the First United Methodist Church, he served on the administrative board for two years.

Bohannon and his wife, Kathy, have two children, Charlie and Natalie, who attend Sikeston Public Schools.

A veteran Councilman and former Mayor, Pullen has served on the Sikeston Planning & Zoning Commission and as the Council’s representative to the Sikeston Board of Municipal Utilities.  Pullen is a past president of the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce, past president/director of the Kenny Rogers Center, serves on the Board of Directors of Alliance Bank, is past president and a member of the Lion’s Club, and serves on the Board of Directors of Ducks Unlimited.  He has been honored as the SACC 1999 Citizen of the Year, 2001 Elks Citizen of the Year, and the SACC 2002 Business of the Year. He is the owner of Pullen Brothers Trucking Company.  Pullen and his wife, Loretta, have two daughters, Mia K. and Angela B.  View Ward 1

A life long resident of Sikeston, Terrell is a retired Sikeston Public Safety Captain, and a six-year veteran of the U.S. Army.  He is married to Hope Terrell.  Terrell is a member of the Sikeston Little Theatre Group, American Legion, VFW, and Elks Lodge.  In his free time, Terrell enjoys fishing, gardening, and metal detecting.   View Ward 2

Employed as Duckett Truck Centers' Sikeston location Body Shop Manager, Teachout is a graduate of Sikeston Public Schools and studied Industrial Technology at Southeast Missouri State University.  He and his wife Kathy have a daughter, Lauren.  An active member of the Jaycees, Teachout was named the 1992 Sikeston Jaycee of the Year, was named one of Ten Outstanding Young Missourians by the Missouri Jaycees, and received the Sikeston Jaycee Distinguished Service Award. He serves on the 1st United Methodist Church Staff & Parish Committee and the Buildings & Grounds Committee.  Teachout also serves on the City’s Department of Public Safety Advisory Board, and has served on the Department of Economic Development Board and the BMU Board of Commissioners.  View Ward 3

Councilman Michael Harris is a lifelong resident of Sikeston and a 1979 graduate of Sikeston Senior High. He attended Southeast Missouri State University earning his BS in Social Work (1984) and later earned his MSA in Human Services (2001). 

Councilman Harris enlisted with the Missouri Army National Guard in May 1984 and retired in January 2007 obtaining the rank of Master Sergeant. During his second term in office as a City Council member Harris was called to active duty status in April of 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Harris was relieved of active duty in May of 2006 earning a Bronze Star, an Iraqi Freedom Campaign Medal and a Combat Action Badge. 

Councilman Harris has been employed by the Sikeston Public School’s Career and Technology Center for the past eight years in the capacity as the SCTC Placement Coordinator. He has served with numerous community service organizations aimed at improving the quality of life for local citizens. His current affiliations include the Sikeston Lion’s Club (Member), Sikeston Community Credit Union (Secretary), Peaceful Lodge 181 - Prince Hall Affiliate (Past Master),  ML King Day Planning Committee (President), Mission Missouri (Board President) and the Mission Missouri’s Open Door Fellowship (Pastor).

Councilman Harris is married to Maude (Bankhead) Harris and their family includes Najawa, Brenda, Sloane and Kellar. View Ward 4
